The Senegal striker, Nicholas Jackson, has expressed his delight after scoring in Chelsea’s 3-0 win over West Ham United, revealing that his inspiration came from the King of Pop, Michael Jackson’s dance moves.
Jackson’s impressive performance saw him score two goals in the 4th and 18th minutes, giving Chelsea a significant advantage in the first half. Cole Palmer sealed the win with a third goal before the start of the second half.
After scoring his first goal, Jackson celebrated with a dance to Michael Jackson’s ”Thriller”, a move he had envisioned a few days prior.
“I saw an opportunity to run behind the defense, and I gave the ball to Jadon (Sancho), who gave it back to me. I had to score goals as soon as possible to take control of the game,” Jackson explained.
“I did it as a tribute to Michael Jackson. I had a dream two days ago, so I chose to do this gesture,” he added.
Nicholas Jackson has had a remarkable start to the season, scoring 4 goals in 5 Premier League games.
