Unraveling the Enigma: What’s Holding Back the Communist Party’s True Potential

We all looked at the letter published by the Communist Party of Sudan in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where it stated the reasons for its abstention from meeting the leadership of the Coordination of Civilian Democratic Forces (TAQADUM), which were valid reasons. and “integrity”, which limits the possibility of rejecting or disagreeing with them. But, despite its relevance and brilliance, was it enough to create a formula to justify that position?
At the outset, I would like to express my sincere agreement with the content of those reasons, which, in my opinion, are somewhat less than what should be described by the views of the Forces of Freedom and Change in terms of insanity, evasion, fraud, and even lied.
The Communist Party, like any party at all, is an organization in every sense of the word organization. It is an established political organization and is not a single individual or person that exists on its own, and that is the rule that governs its political, social and cultural practice. The Sudan Communist Party, despite its size, no one denies the fact that it has weight and appreciation among the ranks of the Sudanese people, and this is certainly not because of the magic that surrounds it, but rather, this is because of the the soundness of his political assessments, the sobriety of his militant stances, and his honesty in dealing with the affairs of his people.
The Sudan Communist Party has many qualities with which it enriches the legacy of consciousness and life experience in general, and one of its most notable qualities is its clear knowledge of the contradictions of social conflict and political conflict and the ways to resolve them , and scrutinize how to adopt them in order to adopt them, and then take positions in light of them. Amidst this, and not just for the informed, the Communist Party’s knowledge and definition of the secondary contradiction and the fundamental contradiction, which has dotted its literature since its first appearance, was not a political use, but rather the intellectual. and a philosophical foundation on which the whole edifice of the party continued to be built in its state of movement and its silence. Throughout the conflict, and in its various forms, the party has remained committed and strictly adheres to the principle of “prioritizing the primary conflict over the secondary conflict.” This is the principle that produced, through its creative application, concepts and sayings that had a great impact in lighting the way for the party to navigate the nation’s complex issues with knowledge. One of the most obvious and distinctive of these concepts is the concept of the “minimum,” on which all the political alliances and struggles of the party were built throughout the ages of past rule, and in the light of all the periods that have pass through Sudan. since before independence. The Communist Party has managed to achieve remarkable successes on its journey, which was reflected in its contributions with other national and political forces in the main achievements of change that took place in the contemporary history of Sudan.
Now Sudan is facing an unprecedented bloody situation where the forces of darkness and terrorism and all their components have united, a situation where these brutal forces have made the national army destitute, led by its ears in a war of interests that her agenda is one. not hidden from anyone. The forces waging this war are now the “prime enemy.” They are the forces by which the “fundamental contradiction” exists between us, and anything other than that is nothing more than “secondary.” Therefore, any forces or any party that is now calling for an end to this madness and this blood, for the party, should not have any place in the contradiction other than what is “secondary”!
The coordination of civil forces is like political forces, and let us say that between them and the Communist Party, what the blacksmith did, stand against the war and call for an end to the war Is that not enough to be reason to sit with them?!
No one, whoever that Sunday is, let alone a politician, can say that sitting, ie just sitting, necessarily means agreement. It was possible for the noble men and women of the United Kingdom and Ireland to sit under the leadership of “Taqaddam” and say in the meeting with them the same things they mentioned and reported in their written response, and listen to them, if not for their party, then first and foremost for the sake of these grieving people who are almost losing confidence in their parties. These people have the right to hope and “desire” that their parties have “great souls”!
The fountains of blood that are bursting now, in deed and not in words, call to sit with Satan himself, even on the edge of hell, because there is no hell greater than what is happening now in this country, Sudan. We have seen with our naked eyes how women are led away by their children, wandering in deserts and deserts, without guidance. If that is not enough for you as a national party to sit down, and not agree, with others calling to stop the war, then what will be enough for you to sit down, you honorable men and women?!
After July 1971, the party emerged with wounds and its back burdened by all the wild accusations about the massacres that took place during the first two years of the coup of May 1969, the events of Wad Nubawi, Al-Jazeera Aba, and Byte However, in spite of that, and in less than six years, the Communist Party came out on the people with its call and its famous program A broad front for democracy and saving the motherland. ” who bitterly accused him of orchestrating murder and bloodshed. His alliance relationship flowed with him, overcoming all the difficulties of public work, until the people’s revolution was achieved during the March/April uprising of 1985. The Communist Party did not provoke other political parties, and because of the dispute between it and some that reached the level of accusation of bloodshed, he didn’t do it because he knew Who is the main enemy? This is a rich and conscious legacy that must be carried into all political action.
The Sudan Communist Party, throughout its political and struggle history, dealt with adults, and it was that characteristic of adults that gave it a place among the people and even among those who were different from it.
The people of Sudan, in their current circumstances, deserve a better response to their demands than a “boycott” of national forces against each other. The Communist Party, as we know it, deserves to treat the people no less than that.
The Communist Party is above its victory over tragedies and blood! The party is not boycotting, but rather individuals are the ones who are boycotting, because the party is an organisation, and the people have a large stake in it.
We hope that the noble men and women will at least adjust their position by sitting down and listening to all those who wanted to stop the war and to others as well, without necessarily agreeing with what is being said. This is the least that can be done for a party of its value and status among its people.
