Around 2 pm on the 6th, 12 North Korean aircraft made a protest formation near the South Korean military’s special surveillance line, and 30 South Korean military aircraft sorted and responded.
The military estimated that eight North Korean fighters and four bombers were conducting air-to-ground firing exercises.
It is an unusual move that North Korea has not seen in the past year. The formation of the protest of the North Korean army and the response of the South Korean army took about an hour.
It is assumed that this is a reaction against the recent South Korea-US and South Korea-US-Japan joint firefighting exercises.
The military explained that the military responded overwhelmingly by promptly mobilizing about 30 F-15K fighters.
