GLIM SPANKY and Kafu Unveil “Himitsu wo Kimi ni” Lyric Video

GLIM SPANKY has released a new collaboration song with virtual singer Kafu, titled “Himitsu wo Kimi ni feat. Kafu”. The song is now available digitally, accompanied by a captivating lyric video.

The collaboration between GLIM SPANKY and Kafu began in 2020, when Kafu released a cover of GLIM SPANKY’s “Utsukushii Toge” on YouTube. This was followed by a cover of “Tokyo wa Moeteru”, and later, the two artists worked together on the “Kumikyoku” project, which resulted in the release of “Kagami yo Kagami” on October 27, 2021.

Remi Matsuo, the producer of the lyric video, shared his thoughts on the project:

I enjoy capturing moments in life that I find beautiful, with the hope of using them in a project someday.

When we started discussing the lyric video for “Himitsu wo Kimi ni”, we decided to use some of the footage we had taken. We gathered old footage and put it together, creating a video that flows from a summer evening into the night. THINKR’s video director added original animation and processing for the lyrics, connecting the footage to create a special video.

I hope that these delicate, almost living words will make you feel that everyday life is always dramatic.

This collaboration is perfect for the end of summer, allowing you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the song.
