Washington – 1 – 7 (KUNA) – US President Donald Trump today expressed his aspiration to reach an agreement that would stop shooting in the Gaza Strip next week.
Trump told reporters before leaving the capital (Washington), heading to the state of (Florida) that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the White House early next week.
Trump said he will talk about the issue related to the Gaza Strip, adding that many prisoners have been restored and “we want to restore the rest.”
The American president indicated that he “hopes” to reach a ceasefire in the sector “and we look forward to it at some point next week.
In another statement to reporters he made in the state of (Florida) during his tour of the (Elegon Catrazing) to detain migrants, the American president pointed out that he would be “very firm” with Netanyahu about ending the war in Gaza, considering that the latter “wants to end it too.”
