Suspect in Charlie Kirk Shooting Not Cooperating, Utah Governor Says
SALT LAKE CITY – tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man accused of shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is not cooperating with authorities, according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox.
“He has not confessed… He is not cooperating,” Cox stated during an interview on ABC News’ “This Week.” However,the governor emphasized that “all the people around him are cooperating,” which he believes is “very important” for the investigation.
Robinson remains in custody, and formal charges are expected to be filed on Tuesday, Cox confirmed.
The New York Times reported Sunday that Robinson allegedly communicated with others on Discord after the shooting, even making jokes about being the gunman.
