Suspect in Charlie Kirk⁣ Shooting Not Cooperating, Utah Governor Says

SALT LAKE CITY – tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man ‍accused of shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is ​not cooperating with ⁣authorities, according to Utah ‌Governor Spencer Cox.

“He ​has not‌ confessed… He is not cooperating,” Cox stated during an ​interview on ABC News’ “This Week.” However,the ⁣governor emphasized that “all the people around him are ‍cooperating,” which he believes is “very important” for the investigation.

Robinson⁢ remains in custody,‍ and formal charges are ‍expected to be filed on Tuesday, Cox⁢ confirmed.

The New York Times⁤ reported ⁤Sunday that Robinson allegedly communicated with ⁤others on Discord after the shooting, even ⁤making jokes about being the gunman.
