Anyone between the ages of 60 and 74 who has not been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) can make a reservation by the 18th of this month.

In addition, you will receive the vaccination at a consignment medical institution, such as a clinic near your home, rather than a public health center.

At a regular briefing on the 4th, the COVID-19 vaccination response promotion team (promotional team) announced that it would expand reservation opportunities for those aged 60 to 74 and add medical institutions where they can get vaccinated.

The promotion team decided to give advance reservations only to groups aged 60 to 74 who have never made a reservation for vaccination, and have been accepting reservations since the 2nd.

However, from this day on, it was decided to give the opportunity to make a reservation again for the elderly who made a reservation for vaccination in the first half of the year, but did not respond to the vaccination due to various reasons such as concerns about side effects.

The promotion team also changed the inoculation location.

Initially, people aged 60 to 74 were supposed to receive the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine at the public health center, but from this day on, it is impossible to make a reservation at the public health center.

The inoculation location was changed from the public health center to a consigned medical institution after reservations were not made smoothly in the last few days because there were more people who wish to be vaccinated than the number of people that can be vaccinated.

The reservation period for those aged 60-74 was also shortened by 13 days from the original 2nd to 31st of this month to 2nd to 18th.

The promotion team explained that this was a measure that took into account the circumstances of consigned medical institutions that vaccinate other age groups as well.

Those aged 60 to 74 who have not yet made a reservation can make a reservation through the reservation website or call center (1339) or local government call center by specifying the date and time with the consigned medical institution they want to inoculate.

Those who have already made a reservation for vaccination at a public health center can inoculate on that date or cancel the existing reservation and make a new reservation at a consigned medical institution of their choice.
