Heads Up, Valorant Fans! Big Fixes Inbound for Tejo in Update 10.01
Mark your calendars, Valorant fans! Riot Games is rolling out update 10.01, and it’s bringing some significant changes, particularly for our newest initiator, Tejo. Let’s dive into what you can expect from this patch.
Rank Shields: Your New safety Net
In a move to add a layer of protection to your competitive standing, Riot is introducing Rank Shields. Here’s how they work:
- You’ll get two shields while in Tier 1 of all ranks (except Radiant).
- Lose a game at 0 RR? One shield bites the dust, leaving you with one remaining.
- Lose another game at 0 RR? Second shield gone, and you’re down to zero.
- Lose three games at 0 RR? It’s time to demote to the lower rank.
These shields are only active when you’re in Tier 1, so keep that in mind. You can check out all the details in the Rank Details screen in the client.
Tejo Gets Some Much-needed Adjustments
Tejo’s been causing a stir since his arrival, but this update aims to smooth out some of his rough edges:
- No more Guided Salvo projectiles getting stuck in Sage’s Barrier Orb.
- Tejo’s Armageddon blast zone should now accurately track displacements.
- The Artillery Missile should now behave as expected, even when cast outside the map.
- And much more! You can find the full patch notes here.
So, there you have it! Update 10.01 is shaping up to be a significant one, especially for Tejo mains. Stay tuned for more Valorant updates, and we’ll see you on theломplex!
