Verstappen was⁢ handed a 10-second penalty for the contact. In addition, he received three penalty points on ⁤his racing license, moving him closer to a potential ⁢race ban. The formula 1 ⁣ driver’s race began to unravel after⁣ losing third position to Charles ‍Leclerc following a safety car⁢ restart on lap 61.
