Red Bull’s decision to switch to hard tires while competitors opted for softer compounds proved problematic. Upon the restart, Verstappen struggled with grip, allowing Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to overtake him. Subsequently, Russell made a move, resulting in contact between the two drivers.
