A group of people were caught trying to take a photo by forcefully dragging a wild bear cub that appeared in a residential area in the United States.

According to video taken by Asheville resident Rachel Stout, two bear cubs appeared at an apartment complex on 16th. The bear cubs were hanging on tree branches. Ashley Hobbs, an ecologist with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission, told the media that after receiving the report, they responded to the scene and began an investigation. Hobbs said one of the pups was found in a reservoir at the apartment complex. The bear cub was said to have lost its strength and limped on one leg, and its body temperature was also low. The other bear cubs have not yet been found.

The bear cub was taken to the Appalachian Wildlife Conservation Center and is recovering. The center plans to care for the cub bear until it reaches the age where it can live independently.
