Vreski’s Highly Anticipated First-Person Shooter: A Glimpse Into the Future of Gaming

2019 was a pretty good year for video games. We got clear indications when Kingdom Hearts III and Resident Evil 2 launched in January, so if you’ve never heard of the Hong Kong Massacre, that’s sadly understandable. It’s a shame because I love this game even though it’s very repetitive. It’s a visual treat that fulfills the dream of playing through Matrix lobby sequences, and the Swedish developers look set to take it to another level with their next game.
Vreski has shared additional in-development gameplay of the untitled first-person shooter they’ve been working on for the past few years, and it’s clear that the studio is building on the best parts of Hong Kong Massacre while changing the perspective. We’re talking destructible environments, dual-wielding weapons, and slow-motion jumping while shooting bad guys.

The bad news is that the two aren’t ready to give us a release window for the game yet, so it looks like they’ll follow tradition and not say anything until launch is very close.
