Reading & Leeds Festival 2025: How too Watch & Listen
Reading & Leeds 2025 began on Friday, August 22nd, and offers multiple ways to experience the festival even if you couldn’t attend in person.
Headliners & Lineup: This year’s festival features headline performances from Chappell Roan, travis Scott, bring me The Horizon, and Hozier. The broader lineup includes acts like Limp Bizkit, D-Block Europe, Heartworms, Leigh-Anne (formerly of Little Mix), Becky Hill, Amyl And The Sniffers, Bloc Party, The Kooks, Enter shikari, and many more – over 80 new artists have been added to the bill.
TV & iPlayer Coverage:
BBC iPlayer: Dedicated Reading & Leeds channel with coverage throughout the weekend, presented by Jack Saunders and Sian Eleri from the Reading site.
BBC One: chappell Roan’s headline set airs tonight (August 22nd) at 10:40pm, and Bring Me The Horizon’s closing set on August 23rd at 11:55pm.
Daily Coverage: Begins at 2pm BST each day (August 22-24) with highlights, Main Stage and Chevron Stage performances, and behind-the-scenes content.
On-Demand: Performances and highlights will be available on iPlayer for 30 days after the festival. A special compilation of standout moments will be available for 12 months.
Highlights Show: A special Reading & Leeds highlights show will broadcast on BBC One on Thursday, August 28th at 11:40pm.
past Performances: Fans can revisit memorable performances from previous years on-demand via the Reading & Leeds hits Channel on iPlayer.
Radio Coverage:
BBC Radio 1: Live broadcasts from Reading between 11am and 4pm today (August 22nd), Saturday (23rd), and Sunday (24th), featuring live sets from the Main Stage and chevron Stage. Presenters include Nat O’Leary, Vicky Hawkesworth, Minah Shannon, sam and Danni.
Dedicated Show: A special Reading & Leeds 2025 show will air on Radio 1 on monday, August 25th from 6pm to 1am, including key highlights and live performances. BBC Introducing: Jess Iszatt and Jordan Blyth will host a dedicated show on Sunday (24th) between 11pm and 1am. Alyx holcombe will present a Reading Special on Radio 1’s Indie Show on Sunday, August 31st between 9pm and 10pm.
BBC Sounds: Features a curated Reading & Leeds Anthems show by Jack Saunders, and will host performances and highlights from the main Stage and Chevron Stage after the festival.
BBC Introducing Stage: One track from each artist performing on the BBC Introducing Stage will be filmed for the BBC Music YouTube channel and included in a compilation program on BBC iPlayer. BBC Introducing in Oxfordshire & Berkshire will present a special highlights show on August 28th.
