Watcha Wins First Prize for 7th Consecutive Year at Brand Customer Loyalty Awards

Watcha won first prize in the online video services (OTT) category at the “2024 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards”. This is in first place for 7 consecutive years.

Watcha started with “Watcha Pedia,” a content recommendation and rating service, in 2012 and expanded its business into Watcha, a content streaming service, in 2016. Watcha subscribers can enjoy unlimited access to more of 100,000 works, including films, fiction, entertainment, documentaries, animations, various videos and webtoons, on mobile devices, PC and TV. It recommends content optimized for individual tastes through star rating data on more than 710 million pieces of content accumulated over 10 years and an advanced recommendation algorithm. Convenience has been improved by introducing “Watcha Party”, the first simultaneous multi-viewing function in Korea. In 2020, it became the first domestic OTT operator to directly enter the Japanese market.
