Royal Thai Flag Day 2024: A Symbol of National Pride

Government Savings Bank employees nationwide participated in Royal Thai Flag Day activities, paying tribute to His Majesty King Rama VI, who presented the Thai national flag in 1917.

Observed annually on September 28, Royal Thai Flag Day commemorates the centenary of the Thai flag. Established in 2017, this day aims to instill national pride and honor the memory of His Majesty King Mongkut, who introduced the Tricolor as Thailand’s national flag on September 28, 1917.

A Nationwide Celebration

Government Savings Bank’s executive team, employees, and regional offices (1-18) joined forces to celebrate this momentous occasion. The nationwide event featured a flag salute and the singing of the Thai national anthem, demonstrating unity and gratitude towards the monarch.
