The president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vico Zeljković, announced after the group draw for the 2024 European Championship, where our team also learned about potential rivals.
Zeljković attended the draw in the Hamburg Philharmonic hall with adviser Marko Miličić, General Secretary of the N/FSBiH Adnan Džemidžić, and member of the Executive Board Irfan Durić.
“Tonight, the draw for the European Championship, which will take place in Germany next summer, was held in the magnificent hall of the Philharmonic in Hamburg.
Tonight’s draw showed us what we already knew, that the next EURO will be the most glamorous and organized so far and it would be very important to be among the participants of the review of the best European selections.
We have a great opportunity to make a historic ranking through two play-off games at home and be part of a new football spectacle in the group with Belgium, Slovakia and Romania”, said Zeljković.
As a reminder, Bosnia and Herzegovina will welcome Ukraine in the play-off semi-finals on March 21, and if they advance to the Euros, they will play against the better team from the clash between Iceland and Israel.
