UNIQLO is holding a product exhibition for Fall/Winter 2024. We went to check out this season’s trend items and outfits!
On August 27, UNIQLO held a product exhibition for Fall/Winter 2024. In addition to announcing the new product in the Heattech series, “Extra Warm Heattech Cashmere Blend,” the brand also showcased recommended styles and items that are trending this season.
The theme for the Fall/Winter 2024 season is “Timeless Tones.” Inspired by European cities, the collection expresses a fusion of classic and modern styles, with simple, calming tonal gradations and styling that combines different materials and silhouettes.
UNIQLO celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, and although the “everyday clothes” it has developed so far have a classic look, they have made repeated improvements to the materials, evolving their warmth and texture. At the exhibition, they will be using these familiar items and functional items to propose outfits for going out that can be used in the coming season.
I’ve taken a look at some autumn/winter styles that are warm without being heavy, and warm yet stylish, so I’d like to introduce the main points.
This year’s “cashmere sweaters” have been reduced in price to under 10,000 yen! They have also evolved into “washable cashmere”
UNIQLO’s ever-popular “Cashmere Sweater” is made from high-quality material (yarn from cashmere goats) carefully selected from one of the world’s leading producing regions, and in order to make the most of its beautiful luster, it is carefully finished by skilled eyes and hands, from yarn making to dyeing and sewing.
This season, the cashmere sweater has evolved. First of all, the price has been reduced from last year’s launch price of 12,900 yen to 9,900 yen. In addition, the color variations have been increased to a total of 32 colors, and the lineup includes three styles: crew neck, V-neck, and turtleneck.

And the biggest point is that it is now officially “hand washable.” Until now, it was “some people who washed it at their own discretion,” but thanks to a special treatment technology at the molecular level, it can now be hand washed at home even though it is a 100% cashmere sweater.
Visitors to the exhibition also commented, “All the colors are beautiful and just looking at them makes me excited. They feel great on the skin, so I recommend you try them out for yourself,” and “There is a wide range of colors to choose from, and the prices are reasonable, so you can try out colors that you wouldn’t normally choose.”

Another noteworthy item is the “Extra Warm Heattech Cashmere Blend” (1,990 yen), the first ever innerwear made with cashmere. It will be released by “UNIQLO:C” on September 6th.
