Weather Warning: Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Expected in the UAE Next Week

ABU DHABI: After last week’s heavy rain and severe weather, the UAE National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather warning for the coming week. Due to the low pressure on the surface, there will be rain of varying intensity across the country next week The National Meteorological Center has informed through count X that there will be rain of varying intensity with thunder and lightning in the country for three days from March 4 .to March 6. A surface depression extending from the southwest will affect the United Arab Emirates. The NCM also expects a flow of cold air from the west along with the flow of clouds.

Clouds will increase from the west on Monday, March 4 after midday. Some of these clouds will bring showers of varying intensity with thunder and lightning on Monday and Tuesday.

On Wednesday, the sky will clear and the amount of rain will decrease. The temperature will drop in the southern parts of the country. A new wind will blow during this period. This can cause dusty sandstorms and reduce visibility.
