What is the truth about the film “Colored Black” by Bayoumi Fouad achieving “zero” revenues?

There were reports that a black color film starring the artist Bayoumi Fouad achieved zero revenues in theaters the day before yesterday, and for this reason it was removed from theaters due to weak public demand. “Al-Masry Al-Youm” contacted the film distributor Mahmoud Al-Dafrawi, who completely denied what many published. News websites, saying: “A black colored film did not achieve zero revenues. This is completely baseless talk. It is normal that with the release of new films, whether Arab or foreign, old films are removed.”

Mahmoud Al-Dafrawi added: “The movie (Colored Black) achieved only about 12 thousand pounds last Tuesday, on its last day of showing, and a total of 2 million and 225 thousand pounds in 3 weeks of showing.”
