US President Joe Biden said that on April 24 he will sign a $61 billion aid bill for Ukraine, which was passed in the House of Representatives and the Senate the day before.
The American leader noted that this will make it possible to send weapons and equipment to Ukraine this week. He stressed that Ukraine’s need is urgent as it experiences continuous attacks from Russia.

Biden also announced an appeal to the American people after signing the law providing assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.
“This critical legislation will make our country and the world safer as we support our friends defending themselves against tyrants like Putin. and terrorists such as Hamas,” the US President concluded.
Let us remind you that President Vladimir Zelensky thanked representatives of the Senate and House of Representatives of the US Congress for accepting assistance to Ukraine. He also said he appreciates Joe Biden’s support.
