In the first public opinion poll conducted after former lawmaker Na Gyeong-won announced that he would not run for the 3/8 National Convention, the result of the poll came out on the 27th that Rep. Ahn Cheol’s approval rating -soo has risen significantly.

For two days from the 25th to the 26th, Realmeter, commissioned by Media Tribune, surveyed the support for the next party’s representative among 1009 adult men and women across the country, targeting 422 supporters (sample error 95% confidence level ±3.1% response rate points 3.2%) As a result, Rep. Ki-hyun Kim and Rep. Ahn were 40.0% and 33.9%, respectively.

Compared to the survey conducted by the same agency on the 16th and 17th and published on the 19th, Congressman Kim’s approval rating fell slightly by 0.3 percentage points, while Congressman Ahn rose by 16.7 percentage points. The gap between Rep. Kim and Rep. Ahn narrowed to 6.1 percentage points, within the margin of error (±4.8 percentage points).

He was followed by former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min with 8.8%, former Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn with 4.7%, lawmaker Yoon Sang-hyun with 3.2%, and lawmaker Jo Gyeong-tae with 1.8%. ‘Other people’ were 3.2%, and ‘I don’t know’ was 4.4%.

In terms of the possibility of being elected as the next leader of the party, Rep. Kim had the highest rating at 48.5%. Rep. Ahn followed with 28.7%, then former Rep. Yoo with 6.4%, former Prime Minister Hwang with 3.9%, Rep. Cho with 2.6%, and Rep. Yoon with 1.8%.

In the virtual two-way showdown, Rep. Kim won 48.0% and Rep. Ahn won 40.8%. ‘None’ or ‘Don’t know’ were 5.9% and 5.3%, respectively.

In terms of party support, the Democratic Party of Korea was 43.8%, the People’s Power 41.4%, and the Justice Party 2.6%. An evaluation of President Yoon Seok-yeol’s state affairs performance recorded a positive evaluation of 39.4% and a negative evaluation of 57.6%.
