Sources said that due to a conflict between the publisher and the education department, the printing of the books could not be started, while it takes at least four months from the printing of the books to delivery.
In this regard, an emergency meeting of the Steering Committee of the Education Department of Sindh has been called today, the notification of which has also been issued. According to the notification, the meeting will approve the commencement of the academic year in August.
It should be noted that last year in 2023, the textbooks could not be published in the market on time due to which the students had to face severe difficulties.
