White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on the 12th (local time) that the US reaffirms the sincerity of the US side that it has no hostile policy toward North Korea.
During a meeting with Blue House National Security Director Suh Hoon in Washington, D.C. on the same day, Sullivan reiterated his position that he would negotiate with North Korea anytime, anywhere without conditions, the embassy said. In addition, the head of the South Korea-U.S. Security Office agreed to continue to work closely together on specific ways to engage with North Korea.
