Windows 10, update program leads to seem to disappear on some gadgets | Zaikei Shimbun

headless states some products Windows 10 version 20H2 / 21H1 / 21H2 with preview update July 26 KB5015878 or August every month update (KB5016616) set up no sound from audio equipment I heard there is a problem (Microsoft Docs, Neowin report, Softpedia article, Ghacks write-up).

As a phenomenon, there is no sound at all, and only specific ports, audio devices and programs can be impacted. Many of the afflicted units both experienced audio enhancements disabled prior to putting in these updates, or had challenges with audio enhancements in their machine drivers.

Microsoft offers unique workarounds dependent on no matter whether the update is mounted or not, but given that the Known Problem Return (KIR) is managed, the workaround seems to be unneeded if it is not put in. If the issue is now there, KIR will never be capable to repair it, so you are going to want to just take a workaround, like jogging the audio troubleshooter. Take note that managed gadgets have to have Team Plan to be set for KIR.
