Winter Weather Alert for North Dakota
Winter is approaching in North Dakota, and some areas may experience heavy snowfall. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for north-central North Dakota from 9 a.m. on November 19th to 6 p.m. on November 20th.

- Counties: Bottineau, Rollette, McHenry, Towner, Ramsey, Benson, Cavalier, Pierce
- Cities: Devils Lake, Rugby, Velva, Rolla, Drake, Langdon, Maddock, Bottineau, Minnewauken
Snow Predictions:
- Expected snowfall: 5 to 8 inches in some areas, with higher amounts possible in the Turtle Mountains.
- Areas may see slippery roads, blowing snow, and reduced visibility.
Bismarck Mandan Capital Region Forecast:
- Rain will start early Tuesday morning around 3 a.m. Wind speeds will be high.
- Rain will change to snow by 9 a.m., with light accumulation of about half an inch.
- Snow will continue into Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, accompanied by northwest winds of 25 to 45 mph.
- Cold temperatures will follow, keeping high temperatures in the 20s and lows in the teens.
