A total of 78 projects in Hangzhou participated in the centralized construction activities, with a total investment of 108.3 billion yuan, ranking first in the province in terms of number of projects and total investment.

Infrastructure projects are the most important projects in Hangzhou this time. There are 41 projects, accounting for more than half of the total, with a total investment of 65 billion yuan, accounting for 60% of the total investment.
The reason why more than half of the projects and investments are given to infrastructure is very simple. The main purpose of infrastructure projects is to promote urban development and make people’s lives more convenient, which is also the main purpose of government investment.

City First People’s Hospital New District:
Completed a top three general hospital
The new campus of the First City Hospital is located in Genbei New District, Shangcheng District, with 1,200 beds. The construction content mainly includes a comprehensive inpatient building, a medical technology building, an infection building, a hyperbaric oxygen building, a specialist building, an outpatient building, and a comprehensive innovation building. Completed in 2027.
After the project is completed, the medical level of Genbei New Town and its surrounding areas will be improved, and the second phase of Qianjiang New Town will be radiated. It is a high-level research-oriented, international, and modern tertiary-level first-class general hospital with advantageous and characteristic disciplines such as rare disease disciplines, gynecology and pediatrics disciplines, and emergency trauma disciplines.
Xixi Hospital Phase II:
Build a “combination of peace and war” tertiary infectious disease hospital
Compared with the new hospital district of the city’s first hospital, in order to optimize the regional medical layout, the second phase of Xixi hospital mainly deals with the prevention and treatment of sudden acute infectious diseases.
The project is located in Liuliu Street, Xihu District, with 500 beds. The content mainly includes the expansion of the medical complex building, the new medical technology building, the internal medicine building, the inpatient building, and the fever clinic. It will be completed in 2026.
After the completion of the project, it will expand the scale of infectious disease diagnosis and treatment in hospitals, improve the prevention and control system for sudden acute infectious diseases, improve the level of medical treatment for major epidemics, and build a standardized infectious disease specialist hospital that integrates medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, first aid, and preventive health care. , a “combined peace and war” third-level infectious disease hospital with high medical level and advanced medical equipment.
Xingcan Nine-Year Consistent School:
Build 63 classes to recruit 2,835 primary and secondary school students
Xingcan Nine-Year Consistent System School is located in Linping Street, Linping District. The main construction contents are primary and secondary school teaching buildings, primary and secondary school complex buildings, art conference center, cafeteria and art building, corridors across the street, underground parking spaces, outdoor annexes and Green landscape, etc. It is planned to be completed in 2025.
The project plans to build a 63-class nine-year system school, which can recruit 2,835 primary and secondary school students and 192 teaching staff after completion. The construction of this school is mainly to solve the supply of resources for some primary and secondary schools in Linping District.
Reconstruction and expansion of Zhejiang University City College:
Demonstrate the campus style and cultural environment of “Top 100 Universities”
The reconstruction and expansion project of Zhejiang University City College is located in the south campus of Zhejiang University City College in Gongshu District. It is expected to be completed in 2024.
After the project is completed, it will provide 910 student dormitories, 72 teachers’ apartments, and 26,000 square meters of medical school teaching, office, and various laboratories, providing a strong foundation for showing the campus style and cultural environment of the “Top 100 University”.
