Newbridge, Kildare – A woman is hospitalized with serious injuries after being found unresponsive in a Newbridge parking lot early Wednesday morning. Police are investigating the incident as an assault and are appealing to the public for information.
The woman was discovered around 8 a.m. in St. Conleth’s car park on Main Street. Emergency services rushed her to Tallaght University Hospital.
Authorities are urging anyone who may have been in the vicinity of St. Conleth’s car park between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8:15 a.m. Wednesday to come forward. they are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who may have witnessed anything suspicious or have dashcam footage of the area during that timeframe.
“We are asking anyone with any information, no matter how small they think it might potentially be, to contact us,” said a spokesperson for the Gardaí. “Your information could be crucial to our investigation.”
