Ticketmaster, the official ticketing site, lists upper-level seats for Wednesday’s match between CF Pachuca of Mexico and FC Salzburg of Austria in Cincinnati ranging from $33.45 before taxes to over $750 before taxes for the final. However, considerably cheaper options are available on the secondary market.
StubHub recently offered lower-level seats for the Pachuca-Salzburg game for as little as $6, including fees. Tickets for other matches, including Flamengo vs. ES Tunis in Philadelphia and Ulsan HD FC vs. Mamelodi Sundowns FC in Orlando, can also be found for under $10.
The tournament coincides with the Gold Cup and the U.S. pro soccer season, potentially contributing to the ticket sales challenges.
