Wrestlers strike; Protest all over the country today, all over the country will protest by lighting National candles | Deshabhimani

New Delhi The country has declared support for the players who are continuing their strike for the 15th day against BJP MP and wrestling federation president Brij Bhushan, who sexually assaulted seven female players, including a little girl . A candlelight protest will be held on Sunday at 7 pm demanding the resignation of Brij Bhushan. Anti-racists Bajrang Poonia, Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat appealed to all citizens to participate in the protest. Farmers, students, workers and representatives of Khap will march to Jantarmantar on Sunday in solidarity with the stars. Then the Maha Panchayat will meet here. Two committees have been formed to decide the future of the strike. Apart from the stars, the 31-member committee includes representatives of farmers, women’s organizations and Khap. There is another nine member committee especially for some from the wrestling field. Vinesh Phogat warned that the police would create provocation to disrupt the protest and caution was needed. The warning comes in the context of BJP members who came to the protest site in the form of journalists and tried to create conflict. Sakshi Malik demanded that the Delhi police under the control of the central government should be ready to make a statement under Section 164. They said they could not go to the High Court as they were not testifying. The future of the struggle will be decided by the Maha Panchayat. The police took steps to stop the protesters at the Delhi border. Haryana BJP Home Minister Anil Bij announced his support for the players. On Saturday, under the leadership of the Mahila Association, five left-wing women’s organizations protested near the venue.
