Ryan Reynolds and rob McElhenney’s wrexham, fresh off becoming the first English team to achieve three straight promotions, will face a baptism of fire in the Championship. Their first match in the Championship campaign in over 40 years is away against Southampton. Following that, they face Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday, and West Bromwich Albion in their initial five games.
Birmingham City, co-owned by Tom Brady, will kick off their season against Ipswich Town on Aug. 9. Ipswich will then battle Blackburn Rovers, Oxford United, Leicester City, and Stoke City in their first five matches. The Hollywood derby between Wrexham and Birmingham is scheduled for Oct.4, with the return match on April 11.
