The High-ranking Officials Criminal Investigation Bureau assigned a charge case against the chief prosecutor of the prosecution and the investigator who prosecuted Representative Woong Kim, the people’s power, and launched an investigation.
Investigating the so-called ‘accusing master’ case, the 3rd investigation department of the air defense department assigned the case in which Lee Hee-dong, the chief prosecutor of the 1st public investigation department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor’s Office, was accused of writing an interview report mistakenly with a forensic investigator.
The prosecution, which took over and investigated the case of Representative Woong Kim during the suspected ‘accusation’ of the airlift in May, found Rep. innocent. Kim, saying that there was no evidence that the complaint against the passport personnel involved was directly delivered to Representative Woong Kim from Prosecutor Son Jun-seong.
Chief Prosecutor Lee Hee-dong has been accused of writing a false report with unreported information while writing an investigation report on a forensic expert investigator, which was the basis for Rep. Kim’s acquittal.
In the investigation report released in the trial of Prosecutor Son Jun-seong, it was written that the forensic expert investigator who participated in the search and seizure reported the possibility of third party involvement, such as “there may be another person between Son Jun -seong and Kim Woong.”
However, during the interview with Chief Prosecutor Lee, the forensic investigator who acted as a witness denied the content of the report, saying, “I have never mentioned the possibility of third party intervention,” and raised suspicions of false reporting .
Accordingly, on the 15th, the Democratic Party of Korea reported chief prosecutor Lee and others to the Air Transport Agency for writing false public documents.
