NÜRBURGRING, Germany (April 30, 2025) – Under ideal spring conditions and before a large crowd, WS Racing participated in the second round of the Nürburgring Long-distance Series (NLS), the ADAC Ruhrpott-Trophy. A total of 133 vehicles competed on the 24.358-kilometer course, a combination of the Grand Prix circuit and the challenging Nordschleife. GITI TIIR MOTORSPORT BY WS Racing entered four vehicles, gaining valuable experience and achieving solid results in the four-hour race.
Girls ONLY Team Competes at SP10 Level
The “Girls only-Ready to Rock the Green Hell” team, featuring drivers Carrie Schreiner, Janina Schall, and Beitske Visser, delivered a strong performance in their BMW M4 GT4 (No. 146). Starting from ninth position, the trio quickly advanced, reaching as high as third place, closely challenging seasoned competitors.
However, after nine laps, the M4 GT4 encountered boost pressure issues, resulting in an approximate 15-horsepower loss. These technical difficulties hampered their podium aspirations, but the team managed to secure a commendable sixth-place finish.
“Great catch-up hunting, the podium was within reach until we had engine problems again,” Schreiner said after the race. “It hurts when you slip such a result. Nevertheless,we made great progress in the setup this year and found the best Giti tire mix for our M4.” The team is currently investigating the exact cause of the engine problem.
Solid Result in VT2 RWD Class
In the VT2 RWD class, WS Racing fielded two BMW 330i cars. The no. 506 car, driven by Jack James and Michal Makes, finished sixth after starting fourth.
