According to Arab journalist Muhammad al-Bassimi, Microsoft will limit its presence in the region to marketing the Game Pass service and selling accessories.

Al-Bassimi also revealed that Microsoft will not release the Xbox portable device, which was originally not announced in the local market. This could be a sign that Microsoft is preparing to launch a portable Xbox device in the next generation.

While Microsoft has neither confirmed nor denied the authenticity of the news, the company’s decision not to release a new version of the Xbox series in the region adds to the validity of this information.

Microsoft is considering stopping selling Xbox consoles in the Middle East. Also, it is possible that their next portable device will not be released and the focus will be only on Gamepass, PC and accessories.
