Samsung Electronics has entered the European market with a diversified portfolio in the widest range of companies. Samsung Electronics still maintains the No. 1 position in many European markets, especially in Poland with a 42% market share. It also topped the charts in several countries, including Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal.
Counterpoint Research said, “Russia, which accounts for a large portion of Europe, is recording shipments nearly double that of Germany, the second largest market. Excluding Russia, Samsung maintained its No. 1 position in the European market.” .
Apple performed well in Western Europe based on its premium phones. In particular, in the second quarter of this year, Apple took the first place in the UK with a market share of 44%, and also ranked first in Austria, France, Germany, Hungary, Sweden and Switzerland.
