Xiaomi Reveals 2-in-1 Mijia Smart Air Purifier and Humidifier Pro

Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro, a 2-in-1 device that combines air purification and indoor humidification.

The device measures 32 x 32 x 81cm and focuses on low-noise operation. To address hygiene concerns common in humidifiers, Xiaomi integrated a UV sterilisation system designed to prevent bacteria from breeding in standing water or releasing microbes into the air.

Xiaomi claims the purifier delivers a clean air delivery rate of up to 422m³/h.

Market Positioning and Industry Competition

The Mijia Smart Air Purifier with Humidification Pro enters a market of dual-function air care devices. However, Xiaomi’s crowdfunding price of roughly $255 (or £220) positions the device as a more affordable alternative, particularly for users already integrated into the Xiaomi smart home ecosystem.

While the device has been available through Chinese crowdfunding, Xiaomi has not yet officially confirmed the specific launch dates or pricing for other global markets. The appearance of the product on the brand’s global site serves as the primary indicator of an imminent worldwide rollout.
