First, on April 22, the district signed a business agreement on a visiting children’s sexual education project with “Municipal Youth Sexual Culture Center Aha! (Center Director Lee Myung-hwa)” to spread and establish a culture brilliant and safe sex among children. .

This center is an organization that helps improve gender sensitivity by providing sexual education and personalized counseling that takes into account the characteristics of each age group. This agreement includes global content to provide quality programs containing correct sexual knowledge and information adapted to the characteristics of children.

Through this agreement, the district plans to launch a “visiting child sex education project” starting in June for a total of 20 elementary schools and 84 classrooms in the district for children experiencing physical and emotional changes due to puberty.

Furthermore, the district is carrying out various prevention projects in relation to HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection, which has been constantly increasing in recent times.

Additionally, in collaboration with the Seoul Branch of the Korea Association for AIDS Prevention, we are providing information related to sexually transmitted infections to young people and the general public. This year, Yanghwa Middle School, Yeouido Middle School, Gwanak High School and Yeongdeungpo Girls High School will provide education on the prevention of HIV and AIDS infections, supporting students’ education of correct sexual values ​​and healthy sexual life .
