Through this agreement, the district plans to launch a “visiting child sex education project” starting in June for a total of 20 elementary schools and 84 classrooms in the district for children experiencing physical and emotional changes due to puberty.
The training includes not only basic education related to safe sex, but also education to improve awareness of AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases.
Furthermore, the district is carrying out various prevention projects in relation to HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) infection, which has been constantly increasing in recent times.
We will participate in various commemorative events such as the inauguration ceremony of the local functional group and World AIDS Day, and organize promotional booths and campaigns to provide information on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.
Additionally, in collaboration with the Seoul Branch of the Korea Association for AIDS Prevention, we are providing information related to sexually transmitted infections to young people and the general public.
