Police investigating allegations of manipulation of Lim Young-woong’s score on ‘Music Bank’
The production team of KBS2’s music program ‘Music Bank’ is being investigated by the police for three months on charges of manipulating singer Lim Young-woong’s score.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul said it is continuing to verify the facts surrounding the ‘Music Bank’ production team, which is suspected of deliberately manipulating scores in the process of determining singers’ rankings.
Lim Young-woong was nominated for 1st place together with girl group Le Seraphim in May, but received 0 points in the number of broadcasts and was pushed to 2nd place in the total score.
Previously, the police received complaints from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and an internal investigation was carried out.
