The caravan has started again… Immigrants from South America are flocking to the US border

As the United States’ measures to expel illegal immigrants from the border at the time of Corona 19 ended immediately, migrants from Central and South America are flocking to the border area again.

The governments of Mexico and the United States across the border have received a joint response.

Large numbers of immigrants from Central and South America are flocking to northern Mexico and the US border area.

When the US policy of immediate deportation of illegal immigrants introduced in the name of preventing the spread of Corona 19, the so-called Policy No. 42, expires at 0:00 on the 12th, local time, those who want to open the road to the United States is gathering.

“I was a student, but college tuition is expensive, and everything is so expensive that my parents can’t afford it. So I couldn’t continue to attend school, so I decided to go somewhere else and find something that I could do it.”

It is known that tens of thousands of people are already waiting around various border checkpoints in Mexico in the hope that it will be easier to apply for asylum to the United States.

But contrary to the hopes of immigrants, entry into the United States has not become more flexible.

This is because the requirements for refugee or humanitarian entry have become stricter, and even if you try to make an immigration reservation through the app, there are too many applicants to access it.

The US and Mexican governments expect illegal entry attempts to increase significantly.

In fact, US authorities have admitted 28,000 immigrants to the facility in recent days, a record high.

The US and Mexican governments have increased surveillance, including the deployment of large numbers of law enforcement personnel along the border.

“All we can do is block the roads. Under no circumstances will force be used against migrants unless the safety of soldiers or law enforcement is threatened.”

Authorities in the United States and Mexico are nervous, saying that if immigrants flock in large numbers, confusion could arise, such as an explosion in immigration-related work, lack of accommodation facilities, depletion of immigrant-related budgets , and security instability.
