Born in 1999, this 23-year-old woman’s name is Jeong Yoo-jeong.

On the 26th of last month, a suspect is accused of murdering a woman his age whom he met through a tutoring app at a residence in Geumjeong-gu, Busan, mutilating the body and then leaving it in the grass

The Busan Metropolitan Police Agency’s Identity Disclosure Decision Committee stated the reason for the disclosure, saying, “The seriousness and brutality of the crime is recognized, and it is judged that there is a great need for the public interest, such as the effect of preventing similar crimes.”

Mr Jeong, who had insisted the incident was accidental, saying, “I committed the crime while arguing with the victim,” recently revealed the motive for the crime.

Mr. Jeong told the police, “I was interested in criminal investigation programs through broadcast media and the Internet,” and “I felt the urge to murder, and I wanted to murder.”

As a result of the police investigation, it was found that Jeong had already been gathering information related to the ‘murder’ online three months before the crime.

It was also revealed that he had read books relating to crime, had prepared the weapon used in the crime in advance, and marked the exit point in advance.

Neighbors remember Chung as quiet and calm.

“As far as I know, I know him as a good kid. He doesn’t say much. Because he doesn’t speak… Maybe something is written. But people don’t know what’s inside .”

Experts analyze that even if the purpose was murder, there would be factors that could have caused the crime.

“We are talking about crimes without motive or not asking, but it is not revealed to the outside, but the various environment of the person who committed the crime, his personal relationships, his internal psychological relationship due to his stress , and in fact the cause and motive for committing the crime Because it will be.”

The police plan to send Jung to the prosecution on the morning of the 2nd, and at this time, Jung’s real face is expected to be revealed.
