Statement of condolence on the Indian train accident by heads of state including President Zhang

President Yoon Seok-yeol and leaders from around the world express their condolences for the trains and collisions in India.

President Yoon Seok-yeol said on Twitter yesterday (3rd), “On behalf of Korea, I express my sincere condolences to the victims and their families.”

Chinese President Xi Jinping also sent a message of comfort, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

US State Department chief deputy spokesman Vedant Patel also said, “Our hearts are with the people of India,” and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also issued statements of condolence.
