Here at Changdeokgung Palace, where I am, I can see many citizens enjoying spring.
As you can see behind me, the flower trees are bursting with buds one by one, adding to the mood of spring.
During the day today, the temperature in Seoul will rise to 18 degrees, which is about 6 degrees higher than the average temperature.
Temperatures will rise to 24 degrees in Gwangju and 25 degrees in Hadong, Gyeongsangnam-do, making it feel a bit hot for spring clothes during the day.
Today, the skies across the country will be mostly cloudy, and it will rain again in Jeju and the southern coast.
Rain clouds will gradually move in from the southwest.
Rain will begin in Jeju in the late afternoon and rain will fall on the southern coast at night.
The expected amount of rain will be 5 to 10 mm on the southern coast and up to 40 mm on Jeju Island, and heavy rain of up to 60 mm or more will fall in the Jeju mountainous regions.
In particular, heavy rain of around 10 to 20 mm per hour will fall on Jeju Island tonight.

The temperature in Seoul will rise to 21 degrees in the middle of the day, creating weather equivalent to late April.
There will be another round of rain across the country next Monday and Tuesday.
