Chinese expert Zhong Nanshan “Omicron is not so scary…Symptoms are weak”
A Chinese expert has confirmed that there is no need to feel excessive fear about the new mutant Omicron for COVID-19.
Zhong Nanshan, the chief authority on infectious diseases in China, said in a forum yesterday (4th) that “Omicron is definitely contagious, but the symptoms are relatively weak.”
“The vaccine currently used is still showing a preventive effect,” Jung explained.
