Young Chefs Prepare Full Menu at Hirschen Erlinsbach

Twelve children recently prepared a complete menu at Restaurant Hirschen in Erlinsbach, Aargau, as part of an initiative to introduce young people to the culinary arts. The project was led by restaurateur Albi von Felten, who aimed to instill a sense of joy in cooking and a respect for food among the participants.

During the event, the children were involved in the active preparation and plating of the meal. One participant, Vincent, wore a Little-Fooby apron while plating the main course on white plates under the direction of the chef.

The activity took place within the framework of the Landhotel Hirschen’s established culinary approach. The restaurant describes its style as Jurassic Cuisine, which is characterized by a seasonal focus on top regional products.

The establishment operates with a commitment to biodiversity and the principles of Slow Food, and ProSpecieRara. Their diverse offerings range from Fine Dining creations and popular traditional dishes to simple Speuzerli, which are described as Erlinsbach-style tapas.

The restaurant maintains different dining areas with specific policies. The Zeitgeist Fine Dining Restaurant is designated as a dog-free zone, while well-behaved dogs are permitted in the Felten and Hirschen-Stube.
