Musk’s popularity in China extends beyond⁣ young men. He has⁣ described his relationship with the country ⁣as a⁤ mutual admiration, and he receives a warm reception from chinese ‍leaders, even as relations between Beijing and Washington remain strained.

Musk’s involvement with the previous U.S. governance has raised concerns. It was reported that ‍Musk was invited to a Pentagon briefing⁣ on military planning, typically reserved for top security officials. The ‍briefing included secret plans for a potential conflict with China, where ⁤Musk has extensive business interests beyond‍ Tesla.

SpaceX‍ imports billions of dollars from China, and Musk regularly ⁤meets with high-ranking officials. He met with Premier Li Qian last year‍ and with ⁣the president in San ⁤Francisco in November 2023.
