Al-Ahly club first-team player Youssef Ayman has confirmed that the injury he sustained while participating in the Egyptian Super Cup match against Zamalek for the Champions Club is serious.
Youssef Ayman suffered a serious head injury in a collision with a Zamalek player, but then continued in the match after the intervention of the medical team, before he missed a penalty kick.
Yusuf Ayman said in a statement to On Time Sports: “Congratulations to Al-Ahly fans we pissed them off last time, but we satisfied them after any defeat in the Egyptian Super Cup.”
The defender of the Qatar national team added: “The injury is light, God willing. We are used to these things. I don’t remember what happened before this injury. Currently, I am in good condition, but the light hurts my eyes.”
In a video clip on Instagram with Imam Ashour, his teammate, Youssef Ayman appeared in great pain as the Red Giants delegation headed to the accommodation hotel after the Egyptian Super Cup win.
Yusuf Ayman said in his conversation with Imam Ashur: “By God, I don’t know when Percy Tau was going to take the penalty kick, I told him, I thought he was the Qatar national team player Moez Ali.
