The Zac Brown Band is scheduled to headline the UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest in Washington, D.C., on June 13, 2026. The free event will take place on The Ellipse, located just south of the White House, serving as a precursor to a mega-event that concludes with a fight hosted at the White House on June 14, 2026.
The Fan Fest is designed as a multi-day experience running on June 13 and June 14. In addition to the headline performance by the country rock group, the event will feature ceremonial weigh-ins, meet and greets, on-stage entertainment, interactive experiences, and appearances by various celebrities and UFC athletes.
On Sunday, June 14, the festivities will include a live watch party for the fights, which will be held on the South Lawn of the White House.
Strategic Objectives and Financials
Mark Shapiro, the president and COO of TKO Group Holdings—the parent company of the UFC—described the White House event as a strategic investment. Shapiro stated that the initiative is intended to drive subscriber acquisition for Paramount+, expand the UFC’s overall audience, and generate global earned media similar to the scale of the Super Bowl.

Despite the projected growth in viewership and audience sampling, the event faces significant financial hurdles. TKO Group Holdings expects a loss of $30 million on the event, a figure that remains even after the company offsets costs through various sponsorships.
The arrangement is the result of a close relationship between UFC CEO Dana White and President Trump, who first revealed plans to host a UFC fight at the White House in the summer of 2025.
Zac Brown Band’s Recent Activity
The headline appearance comes during a period of high activity for the Zac Brown Band. The group recently completed an eight-night residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas and released a new album titled Love & Fear
in December 2025.
The band also performed at a March Madness music festival in March 2026. Following the conclusion of the UFC Freedom 250 event in Washington, D.C., the group will begin their Love & Fear Tour, which will take them across the United States.
Attendance and Access
While the Fan Fest is a free event, access is not open to the general public without prior coordination. Interested attendees are required to register to attempt to secure tickets for the event.
Zac Brown confirmed the band’s participation via an Instagram video, stating, We can’t wait to headline the UFC Freedom 250 event June 13
