Zain Qureshi’s resignation comes after receiving a show cause notice from the party. In response to the notice, Qureshi stated that he has chosen to resign to facilitate a transparent investigation and respect the sentiments of the party’s supporters.
Qureshi emphasized his loyalty to the party, its founder, and his father. He expressed his commitment to upholding the party’s values and principles.

Recently, National Assembly Member Zain Qureshi was absent from the public scene for several days, sparking concerns about his whereabouts. His wife, Meher Banu Qureshi, had expressed fear for his safety, suggesting the possibility of kidnapping.
In a subsequent video statement, Zain Qureshi revealed that he had gone into hiding at the request of his father, Shah Mehmood Qureshi. He stated that his father had advised him to oppose the constitutional amendment under any circumstances.
Qureshi also addressed the misleading propaganda surrounding his alleged support for the constitutional amendment, clarifying his stance on the matter.
