Zartmann Electrifies Vienna Arena wiht New Music and Fan Favorites
VIENNA – Zartmann brought his electrifying 2025 tour too the Wiener Arena on Monday night, captivating the audience with a blend of well-known hits and previously unreleased material. Bassist Maliiik, a member of Zartmann’s band, opened the show.
The concert underscored Zartmann’s rising star. the Berlin-based artist, propelled by his #1 single “tau me on,” boasts 4.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify.The stage setup was significantly more elaborate than his previous performance at Flex last December. maliiik, in addition to playing bass for Zartmann, showcased his own musical talents during the opening set.
Maliiik sets the Stage
A curtain dropped, displaying an intro reminiscent of the German TV series “Tatort,” but featuring Maliiik’s name. He took the stage to eager cheers, launching into his frist song. “I am always the most nervous in front of Zarti shows,” Maliiik admitted early in his set. Despite his nerves, he delivered a high-energy performance, incorporating dance moves and engaging the crowd. His cover of Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like” had the entire venue dancing.
Zartmann Takes Over
Zartmann’s set began with a dramatic display of flashing lights and instrumental music, the band’s silhouettes visible on stage.The crowd erupted as Zartmann launched into his hit song, “Tau me.” The audience sang along, word for word, demonstrating the artist’s ability to connect with his fans.Zartmann commanded the stage, moving energetically to the rhythm of his music.
After three high-energy songs, Zartmann slowed the pace with ”a call away,” prompting a heartfelt singalong from the audience. He then dedicated several songs to his hometown of Berlin, a gesture that drew playful protests from the Vienna crowd, who asserted their city’s own unique character. Songs like “Berlin wakes me up” and “it doesn’t fit in Berlin” proved to be fan favorites.
New Music Debuts
Zartmann’s performance included not only established hits but also new material. He performed “Schönhauser,” the title track from his upcoming EP, which is due to be released this Friday. Despite the song’s newness,the audience sang along. Drummer Aaron, who has worked with Zartmann for years and produces his music under the name “Drumla,” took center stage to perform his own song, “Where am I,” released in 2022.
Following hits like “Nobody,” Zartmann introduced another unreleased track, “Una.” An instrumental interlude highlighted the musical talents of the band, including drummer Aaron, bassist Malik, and guitarist Beni. Zartmann then reappeared at the back of the hall, performing “gorgeous” in a black suit. He followed this with his newly released track “Let’s go,” featuring Max Raabe via playback. Zartmann made his way through the crowd to the barricade,where he finished the song.
Emotions and Energy
Zartmann concluded the show by thanking the audience for the opportunity to share both emotional and unreleased songs. The performance was a mix of high-energy moments and heartfelt expression. As is customary at Zartmann’s shows, the set included “think us,” a collaboration with Kasi, Antonius, and Aaron, which once again energized the arena. The show concluded with another rendition of ”Tau me” and the summer hit “Eehhyyy.”
The concert ended with a hall full of happy, if exhausted, fans. Some attendees may have already purchased tickets for Zartmann’s 2026 tour stop at the Vienna Gasometer.
