Zdravko Čolić on the occasion of Women’s Day in Zadar Arena

I don’t believe that there is any job or vocation in life that works as much as an elixir of youth as singing in front of an audience, says singer Zdravko Čolić, who will perform in Croatia, on March 11, in the Zadar arena, on the occasion of Women’s Day, after a double sold-out concert in Zagreb.

The secret of his success lies precisely in the audience that has faithfully followed him for almost 50 years. They are his inexhaustible strength.

“You don’t feel the burden of years, bones or muscles when there are thousands of people in front of you, fused with you, in the same vibration,” says the popular singer.

Women’s Day – March 8 is his holiday, which he has been celebrating with the public for four decades.

“I respect women, I respect mothers, grandmothers, wives, daughters… Both in my songs and in life. I think we all have to respect them. I’m certainly not the only singer who sings about women in superlatives, so I can’t say why I’m often called Women’s Day. Ask the audience or the media who identify me with love for women, and I will always try to justify that trust,” Čolić said, reports 24.sata.hr.
